RSPCA QLD Education Programs

The RSPCA Qld Humane Education Department is committed to changing the hearts and minds of children and adults throughout Queensland, so they can better understand how to care for animals and how their behaviours can impact upon animals. All of our Humane Education programs are based on the belief that empathy can in fact be learned, and that education is the RSPCA’s most powerful weapon in changing attitudes and behaviour towards animals.

Hi, My 13 year old daughter is interested in doing your school holiday program, Vet nurse for a day, that appeared in the Ipswich Advertiser. Unfortunately I can’t find any information on it on the website. Could please you advise me if there is a course for that running these school holidays and what is the cost etc?
    Thanks
    Kylie Daniel

Hi Kylie, information on school holiday programs is available from the School Holiday Programs section on this page (click the title). Vet Nurse for a day is only available to 15-18 year olds, so it would be best to call RSPCA QLD Education directly to see what is possible: 07 3258 5616.
