EMU Looking Forward To A Busy 2017

Our Education Mobile Unit (EMU) has been very busy 2017. We are heading to the far reaches of Queensland with trips to Mount Isa in the far north-west, Cairns in the far north through to northern NSW and loads in between. We are attending agricultural shows, schools and community events getting the messages of responsible pet care and animal welfare across to as many people as we can.

Again this year we are extremely thankful to the councils who sponsor EMU’s visit to their regions. These proactive councils see EMU as a great way to help promote the local laws and reduce the negative impact domestic animals can have on their communities.

We are ever increasing the amount of agricultural shows we attend, and this is continuing in 2017. We really appreciate the support of these show committees in allowing us to reach even more people. The interest from visitors never seems to wain and seeing some of the show animals allows us to see the best interaction of people and animals.

Check on woaw to see if  EMU is coming near you in 2017. If not you can check with your school, show committee or local council to see if they can contact us to find out more about getting EMU to your town.
