Animal Cruelty Emergencies
The RSPCA Inspectorate deals with situations regarding animal cruelty.
An RSPCA WA Inspector is available every day of the year between 8:30 am and 5:00pm. If you need to report an act of cruelty or neglect, or you have concerns for the welfare of an animal, please call:
- RSPCA WA – (08) 9209-9300
- RSPCA WA (Regional Callers) – 1 300 CRUELTY
- or outside of these times the WA Police may be contacted for emergencies only on 131 444
Animal cruelty complaints may be reported online at www.rspcawa.asn.au -simply follow the link Report Cruelty or via Fax on (08) 9248-3144; however, please bear in mind that complaints lodged outside of normal business hours may not be responded to until the next business day. Do not use e-mail /fax if the situation is an emergency. Please refer to the appropriate number above.
General enquiries regarding stray animals or livestock should be directed to local council/ranger services. If the animal presents a likely welfare concern or the animal’s welfare is compromised, please refer to the appropriate number above.
