What’s New At RSPCA WA Education! (Jan 2013)

Did you come to Catmas?

A fully decorated christmas tree with RSPCA WA employee putting up the finishing touchesThe RSPCA WA Education team held three pre Christmas holiday sessions with children ages 5-14. We got to cook yummy treats, made Christmas presents for family members and met some furry friends.

Thanks to all of the fantastic children who attended Catmas and made it such a great success. Not only will we be running Christmas sessions in 2013, our Manager has told us that we need to get hopping on a fantastic Easter session for all our valued members and school holiday participants as well.

Make sure you keep an eye on the website at www.rspcawa.asn.au for more details and contact us to ensure you get up to date information about sessions and special activities scheduled for 2013. You can become a member too – check out the details here.

What about asking your class teacher to come to the RSPCA WA in 2013?

You can tell your teacher that as well as having lovely pets to see, we also have brand new programs about creepy, crawly Minibeasts to discover as well as the wonders of growing food for pets in your very own slimy and smelly compost that we make on site! You can learn about ecosystems too in our new, bright and colourful garden that we are building at the RSPCA WA.

Get your teacher to give us a call on 9209 9325 to book an outing to our Shelter!

I would like to suggest if you can put some volunteer work for older kids (13-15). I would love to volunteer!:) maybe 1-2 a week or so.
    Yours sincerely
