A baby figbird chick at the RSPCA Wildlife Hospital Marley the Figbird was found in the middle of a busy road by one of the RSPCA Inspectors on their travel between jobs.

The Inspector picked it up and looked around for its family with no luck.

Marley got looked over by a vet at the RSPCA and he was in good health.

The inspector tried one last time to find the chicks family, but they were nowhere to be found.

Marley has now been sent to the care of a wildlife rehabilitator who is specially trained in taking care of orphaned figbirds.

We wish Marley the best of luck in these important months!
