Cat lovers aged 10-14 came to the RSPCA Animal Care Campus at Wacol to explore the fantastic world of our feline friends. They learnt about cat moods and body language, the needs of cats and ways to keep them entertained using homemade toys.
Lovers of wildlife recently learnt about how we can help our scaly, slithery, feathery, and furry friends during the Wild for Wildife and Wildlife Crusaders School Holiday Programs at Wacol Animal Care Campus.
Learning about how dogs communicate and making toys to stop our furry friends from getting bored was part of the fun in the current holiday program held at the Wacol Animal Care Campus.
Vet Nurses in the making have enjoyed a hands on experience in a new ‘Vet Nurse for a Day’ holiday program at RSPCA Qld’s Wacol Animal Care Campus.
The Vet Nurse for a Day program and learn basic first aid for pets, the nursing of hospitalised animals, pre and post care of surgical patients and observe surgery in our Veterinary, Desex and Wildlife Animal Hospitals.
Wildlife Crusaders is a fun and interactive holiday workshop, which explores the beauty of the local wildlife and how people can live in harmony with animals that share our world.
